ABOUT ME

Born in New York City, Juan Esteban or JROD as some friends call him, is an American entrepreneur, coach, real estate investor, public speaker and best-selling author. In 1999, just before the Dot Bomb era, Juan Esteban successfully sold LaMusica.com, a premier pioneering music website streaming music and video content since 1996, to a national radio network that became a public company. The website continues to thrive to this day. After a year at New York University he enlisted in the military and today counts amongst his achievements “Principal For A Day” at the Banana Kelly School in New York, giving the commencement keynote speech for the 2001 graduating class at Hostos College in New York, was invited to give his coaching talk “Empower Your Hour” at the Silberman School Of Social Work at Hunter College in New York, was named Entrepreneur Of The Year by Hispanic Magazine, awarded the Entrepreneurship Achievement Award by the National Society Of Hispanic MBAs and was awarded the Betances Award by the National Puerto Rican Day Parade Organization. Should Juan look vaguely familiar it's because when taking a break from his other projects, Juan Esteban has appeared in TV shows such as HBO's How To Make In America, Showtime's Nurse Jackie, Law & Order, HBO's Subway Stories and more. He currently lives in Manhattan with his family and his cat Coco Chanel and as a life long entrepreneur continues to coach, invest, create companies and volunteer his time to organizations that are dear to his heart like the YMCA and the Friends Of Dag Hammarskjold Plaza.
